Hi! My name is Elizabeth Hickey and I am a colorist.
For the past eight years, I’ve been working in post-production for film, television and advertising, helping to deliver projects in various formats to clients all over the world.
I began my career in documentary films, working first for Emmy award-winning filmmaker Laurie Kahn (Tupperware!, A Midwife's Tale) as a transcriptionist on her documentary film Love Between the Covers while finishing my degree at Emerson College.
In 2014, I moved to Portland, OR where I assisted filmmaking team Taggart Siegel & Jon Betz (The Real Dirt on Farmer John, Queen of the Sun) on their film, SEED: The Untold Story.
In 2015, I was hired as an assistant colorist at the post-production house ChromaColor, where I began learning the fundamentals of color correction. During my time there, I conformed, balanced and onlined media for clients such as National Geographic, Airbnb, Nike, Google, Facebook and others.
In 2016, I moved to Tokyo, Japan and worked in post-production for the History Channel. Later on, I joined Assemblage, a full-service production company in central Tokyo, as a junior colorist. I had the opportunity to color projects for brands such as Amazon, Speedo, Danskin and Zeiss.
In early 2019, I relocated to Brooklyn, New York. Since then, I have colored projects for clients such as HBO, AT&T, Peloton and others.
